Support IHMS
The IHMS – Ukraine Student Relief Fund has been established to support the educational needs of nursery to grade 8 students and their families, that have fled the war in Ukraine, and will be enrolled at IHMS. Donations to this fund will be used to offset tuition costs, supplies, uniforms, extra-educational support, or any other identified needs that will aid in the education and stability of these students and their families.

Full Time Kindergarten
IHMS offers a Monday to Friday, full-day Kindergarten program that provides a strong academic and social development program with a special concern for the Ukrainian culture, and as well, faith development.

Immaculate Heart of Mary School is a Nursery (Sadochok) to grade 8 Ukrainian Catholic School in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is been owned and operated by the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate. Since its inception in 1905 the four pillars of strength the school stands on are:

Families from Ukraine
Immaculate Heart of Mary School (IHMS) welcomes Ukrainians seeking refuge in our province.
IHMS has received more than 50 families and 70 students from Ukraine. The school still has some capacity to receive additional students, but some classes are now at capacity.
IHMS offers a caring, compassionate and supportive Ukrainian community.
Although our language of instruction is English, the majority of our faculty and staff and many of our students are fluent in Ukrainian.
