There was only one IHMS boy’s basketball team for the 2016 season – a competitive team coached by IHMS alumni Mr. Arndt and Mrs. Faryon. |

| The players on the team consisted of a mixture of grade 7 and 8 students. They were: Eldrec A., Armaan D., Sahil K., Eric L., James L., Thomas T., Yaroslav P., Cedric C., Eknoor B., Danylo S., Binian T., Serhiy S., Danylo S., and Anton V. |
| Unfortunately, it was a difficult season for the boys. They won only one game during regular season play. During the playoffs, they lost their first game and were eliminated from further competition. They entered one tournament, the St. Paul’s Tournament, where they played 2 games and lost them both. |  |
Although there were some good players on the team, and although they played reasonably well, the boy’s basketball team only managed to win one game all season. However, they did seem to improve as the season progressed, and the grade 7 students who played this year should continue to improve for next year.
