| The four members of the Ukrainian musical group Lvivsky Muzyky |
On Thursday, October 19th, the students and staff of IHMS gathered in the school gym to watch a very special musical performance by a group of Ukrainian musicians called “Lvivsky Muzyky”. The four musicians, who travelled to Canada from Lviv, spent about 45 minutes singing an assortment of Ukrainian songs to the delight of everyone in attendance. Alex P., a grade 8 student, acted as a translator between the Ukrainian speaking musicians and the audience.
