Congratulations to the Boys Competitive Volleyball Team that finished the regular season in first place out of 13 teams. The boys won their first two play off matches defeating the Linden Christian Wings and the Christ the King Royals. In a tough final match the boys defeated the St. Emile Huskies, bringing home the boys’ competitive league championship banner and trophy for the first time since 1988. In the St. Paul???s Tournament the boys were also undefeated through round robin action and brought home the championship banner and trophy from that event as well. Russell Cabeliza was awarded with the tournament all star award and Darian Picklyk won the tournament MVP award. The boys went undefeated throughout the entire season in both regular league and play off action. Congratulations guys on a great season. You each developed as volleyball players ???. and you each developed as young gentlemen. Super job! ??? Mr. Picklyk, Coach
The Boys Developmental Team had a great year. During the regular season we won five out of our eight matches. Most of the games were fairly close and all were very exciting. The final tournament was at Linden Christian School where we played a round robin series of matches against Linden Christian, St. Emile, St. Maurice and Our Lady of Victory schools. We won six out of eight games and even managed to beat two of the teams who beat us during the regular season. It was a wonderful experience watching the boys develop their skills and grow in the game of volleyball and good sportsmanship. Great work team! Mr. Crooks, Coach
I had the pleasure of assisting Mr. Dedio with coaching the girls’ developmental volleyball team. I enjoyed working with the girls and helping them develop their skills. They all worked hard and had a lot of fun. The tournament was very exciting to watch as they put their skills into action. Way to go girls!
