On March 17th, Mrs. Wdowiak conducted a pysanka workshop with the junior-high students. The students used an instrument called a “kistka” to draw wax designs on an egg. The egg was then dipped into a coloured dye, and any part not covered in wax was dyed that colour, The wax was then melted off, and the procedure repeated for a different colour. |
